I know I am too hard on the guy, but some of the stuff is just to much to take. Like he couldn't suffer through another rebuild when he got traded to NO. But the Clippers sucked the whole time he was there. They only started to be decent when Griffin exploded on the scene, but still were a sub .500 team. Paul gets there and they are a top 4 seed. NO was supposed to be this horrible franchise, but had been in the playoffs 3 of the 5 previous years before that season. The article said that NO was the most dysfunctional franchise in the league, but we were a top 10 squad. Then it tries to act like it's all different now, when it's the exact same management. It just doesn't make sense.

I get that it's a sunshine type of article trying to cast him in a positive light. But all it did was throw everybody else under the bus and I'm tired of being told as a fan that I don't get him or he is misunderstood. Or the contract stuff wasn't his fault. Just get over it all and play. Show you are a leader and lead. Be a great player. But he won't and he never has.

I also like the one part where he could have tested the market and could have got a better deal. He is basically trying to copy K. Korver's role as a 3pt specialist now. Korver makes 6M a year. Gordon makes almost 16M. He knows he couldn't have got anywhere near that much money for a season. The article is just full of these..

All true, he is trying to repair his rep now that it's time for him to get paid. B4 when he had some skill he was the brat he always was and pouted when he didn't get his way. I like the part where he tries to say he's not the player he once was because we picked up Jrue and Reke. But win Jrue was hurt and Tyrese was playing 20 min off the bench in the 13-14 season he had all the opportunity to step up but didnt. His body is just fragile as we thought with the history they gave on him. I know every one likes to praise him now because he's a good 3pt shooter but he just went from a useless player to and overpaid role player.
