How much of an effort is it to raise quail? Do you have any pictures of your setup? Nothing better than a jar of pickled quail eggs.

I don't know about everyone else, but my birds are finicky as hell, and the young ones are fragile. but pretty much keep them fat, dumb and happy. the pens I have are 6 females to 1 male incase I feel like hatching and are made from mesh hardware cloth so when they shite, I don't have to clean up, it just goes on the ground. theyre 1 foot high, 1' deep and 3' long. pretty simple to raise, but I have no clue why they just stopped laying completely.
pretty tasty too when I get too many males from a hatch

Here is our quail setup. Not hard to care for. Wife spends 10-15 minutes a day with them. Feed, clean water, & clean up.
