Cody joined, so young, naive,
Wore his heart upon his sleeve,
To fit in he tried his best,
Wrote grrrrls name upon his chest,
Young and brash and bold and dapper,
(And not bad for a white boy rapper),
O'er the years watch him grow,
Learn hard truths, some fast, some slow,
Now hopefully he's gained some sense,
No teacher like experience,
He's done hard work and shed his blood,
Through cold and rain, through sweat and mud,
And if you fail, get back up maybe,
For life is long, you're still a baby.
