I grew up in Plano...great area for family and schools and a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Dallas and plenty of things to do in the north Dallas/Plano/Frisco areas.

No I've lived in both cities and the cities are
similar inside the city limits but the Dallas suburbs are better than the Houston burbs.
