What I am tired of, is that they write into the story that the bad guy is permanently being wiped from TIME and SPACE only to have them show up 37 times.
And yes, I am sick and tired of the same old same old over and over and over and over.
I would love nothing more than the doctor to kill Davros as a kid.

Truth be told, I was more interested in Missy being The Rani (rather than The Master), and I was more interested in the enemy this season being Morbius rather than Davros.
These repeated storylines are getting boring. But, I thought the acting was superb and I enjoyed the episode.

Seems like they've been making a concerted effort to tie this doctor in with the past doctors. All the references to the scarf, etc, I imagine are some sort of attempt to bring old fans in and connect him to the doctor(s) that older fans knew as a kid. Could also have something to do with the fact that Capaldi was a major fan as a kid, so now he gets his turn with Davros.
When Capaldi got to salute the Cyberman ghost of Leftenant Whatshisname is another example.
