Glad I went back and re-watched Tom Baker's "Genesis of the Daleks" before watching this. Because of that, I knew immediately where The Doctor was at the start of this episode and who the little boy was. That was a very cool throwback moment.
If this episode is any indication, this season will absolutely murder last season. They're finally writing for Capaldi and not just reusing old scripts that were written for Matt Smith.
Missy was spectacular, the Doctor was great, and Clara was a badass.
I'm very excited for this season!
