You would think that Michael Jackson or Madonna would dominate this thread. They were the biggest acts of the decade in pop music. What your list looks like to me is one of the epitome of MTV one hit wonders.

My first thought was which Madonna or Michael song. Then I thought about song and video since both were a big part of the 80's. I think Sledgehammer narrowly beats out Thriller or Like a Prayer.
To me a lot of the songs listed represent New Wave to Alternative more than 80's pop.
