However, the end of Young Sherlock Holmes is a blatant ripoff of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The connection? Steven Spielberg produced Young Sherlock Holmes and directed Temple of Doom.

Steven Spielberg clearly liked evil cults during that time period. Hell, both evil cults perform a mesmerizing chant that culminates in the death of an innocent person, preferably a blond girl.
