Dak had almost 400 yards of offense against LSU last year

The real kick in the nuts was Robinson having 200 yards rushing. He doesn't return this season and the defense will be better against the run with beckwith holding down the middle. They also won't be surprising anyone like they did against LSU. LSU outmatches them on paper and should take care of the game early

Wasn't Welter our starting MLB in that game?

Can't see that happening Saturday

Welter? Hard to say. I don't remember seeing him make any tackles.

Just seemed like we gave up so many third and longs that game. We'd stop them on first and second and then they'd pick up huge chunks of yards on third down. Maybe I'm not remembering correctly.

that was certainly the case. at least 2, possibly 3 of Ms St's TDs came on 3rd down. was pretty heartbreaking. almost as heartbreaking as hunter scoring more points than our offense through 3 quarters.

Hopefully our 3rd and long issues reside in college station now.

Pretty sure Brandon Harris was on pace for about 1600 total yards that game.

A John Chavis specialty.

So much for Chavis being a defense of Guru, with all that SEC experience under his belt...Dak should hang 450 on A&M

i think Beckwith + Adams + Coach O getting what was a very young set of DTs ready will definitely slow them down.
Dak is good. A lot of our problems last year was not reacting to a big rushing QB in a spread formation.

Just key on Dak, there's no one else that can hurt LSU. I watched their game Saturday, and he is their biggest weapon, and his passing wasn't very sharp at all. Make Dak beat you in the air with one on one coverage, and cover the middle gaps for him running...

Godchaux was still coming along at that point and Beckwith wasn't a factor yet. Also, our offense couldn't stay on the field so that played a big factor. Dak is going to make plays against any team. LSU needs to keep him on the bench as much as possible.

MSU had a seasoned senior laden O line and we were feeling the effects of Brick and Chavis's lack of recruiting skills at D line. We still are by the way. So glad those two are gone.

LSU only favored by 3, I hear
I never bet, but I might take this one
