I love lsu football and I hope they crush the Bulldogs by 3+ td's, but the lost warmup game really concerns me. On the road against a conference opponent, Harris' first start since early last year, and State has a hard fought game against a legitimate opponent under their belt.

I wonder what the line would have been had we handled business against mcneese? I bet more than 2.5.

I'm sure Southern Miss has improved some, but they went 3-9 last year in the CUSA...

While I agree with this, the only thing to remember is that State has only 5 or 6 plays that they can watch film on from this year, so I would think it would be advantage Tigers. We had 4 legit opponents the last couple years and all had more talent than state.

I think LSU is going to run, run, run like against Ole Miss last year. Miss State's DL isn't as good as last year, plus we want to keep the ball out of Prescott's hands. I say LSU wins this.
