Committee is SUBJECTIVE, same as polls. LSU (unlike some schools) is not represented in Committee vote, unless something has recently changed.

Yes, the committee is subjective but, like the basketball committee, they actually take their job seriously and take the time to analyze all relevant factors to arrive at a decision.
The polls are simply sportswriters and coaches (read: some staffer) who fills out their ballot in 2 minutes without watching or analyzing many (or any) games. The polls have always been a joke. The committee is much more legitimate.
