I'd use zip ties set to the estimated 1" compressed position...put the zip tie in between one end of the shock and the ground...push down on top end and slide the zip tie over the top end...
cheap zip ties will probably just strip out...
the thick ones used for a/c duct work should hold 65#
I have a few laying around you are welcome to em'.
or if you want to bring the shocks to slidell I'll give it a shot...I have to wait around the house tomorrow for my new zero turn to be delivered.
