My ex husband started doing it in the late 90's. We had gone scuba diving cavern diving, deep diving but rig diving seemed a bit much for me. Plus it is usually a time when guys get to be guys and as a girl, I would change the dynamics of that.
Plus the expense of it. I'd rather not spend the money on gearing me up and allow him to be able to use that money to do it as often as possible.
As for MyLSUHat. I kinda think I know him in a vague way.

As you see there's a handful of people on here that will occasionally dive the rigs.
I haven't gone this year as much as I have in years past but I absolutely love it
ETA: who are the friends you know and what clubs are they in?
