If you projected his stats in just his 8 full games to the full 14 game season, it would read out 271 att 8.0 ypa 2187 yards 63.2% 21 TDs. Of course this does not include either game against Bama mind you.

Another would be Jefferson for 2009 in 12 games
296 att (7.3 ypa) 2166 pass yards 61.5% 17 TDs 7 ints, 171 rush yards 1 TD

Even Mett in 2012 turned out to be right below average when you put his entire season on display
352 att (7.4 ypa) 2609 pass yards 58.8% 12 TDs 7 ints

I mean had Mett scored 3 more TDs, he would have had a similar stat line as sophomore Russell.

Really only 2008, 2010, and 2014 can you truly classify as awful for a single QB, or team passing

2009 - 7.0 ypa 2363 pass yards 58.9% 19 TDs 8 ints, 148 rush yards 1 TD
2011 - 7.7 ypa 2135 pass yards 62.2% 20 TDs 5 ints, 248 rush yards 3 TDs

Below average season
