That was a monumentally miserable two weeks. The two most vivid memories I have are the poison ivy rash I had all over me from cleaning up debris which made a horrible situation even worse, and the first time we ate a real meal once the restaurants started opening up again after eating crackers and peanut butter for 2 weeks. Everybody in Albasha's on Bluebonnet was eating like they had been in the desert for a month. You could actually hear people groaning "Mmmm" after taking a bite of food. Everybody was laughing; "It's SO GOOD, isn't it?"

I had a freezer full of food slowly thawing. I would sneak off in the woods with a large pot and put it on top of a propane grill. I went through $375 worth of king crab legs, had to though. Made sure that my grand mother and my great grandmother all ate well.

I had a teacher at LSU deduct points for me not going to class and missing a daily quiz in order to salvage what was left of my apartment. I explained the situation and she did not care. I emailed the provost and she got dealt with and gave the whole class 100s.
