This is all about managing Jennings' delicate psyche. Harris is the guy, but he has to give AJ some hope so he will keep his head in the game.

Pretty much this. Despite what people think, we need Jennings focused and prepared this year just in case anything happens to Harris.

Georgia was glad they had Mason when Murray went down in 2013. Went 2-1 against UK, G Tech, and Nebraska losing by 5 to Nebraska, but put up 320 yards a TD and 8.2 ypa in the process.

USCe was glad they had Dylan Thompson when Connor Shaw went down in parts of 2012 and 2013. In 2012 he went 3-1 against East Carolina, 9th Florida, 11th Clemson, and 24th Michigan, with his one loss being to UF. In 2013 he went 2-0 and piloted them to wins against 10th UCF and 5th Mizzu.

Speaking of Mizzu, they were glad Mauk was there when he piloted them to a 3-1 record when James Franklin went down in 2013. He played against UF, #4 USCe, Tennessee, and UK only losing to USCe by 3 points.

Notables in LSU are Perriloux beating Tennessee in the SEC Championship game when Flynn was hurt, and Flynn beating 9th ranked Miami in the bowl game after Russell went down. Also Mauk helping LSU to their SEC championship win when Davey went down during the game in 2002.

A notable outside of the conference last year, was Ohio State's situation.

What are you talking about? Les didn't even name a starter last year, and has been even less cryptic this year. When things went wrong with Jennings, they made the switch in a fairly abrupt fashion.

Harris is the starter, but Miles is not the kind of guy that will go into detail as to why. It's as simple as that.

And of course, Jennings will get snaps, and he should. We have 2 unproven QB's that can both benefit from playing time. But the guy that will get the majority is the one that you think gives you the bet chance going forward.

Some people just can't seem to get it through their heads that our QB situation sucked last year, and we worked with what we had.
