Speaking of mirrors,I sat in one of my friend's dad's stand in Harrell, AR a few years ago, and it was an elevated box stand, on a big 4-way crossing. He had mirrors rigged, so that you could cover all the lanes without moving your head. It was different, to say the least...

We do this also, it really does work. The movement will catch your eye.
