meh. Sounds like most sports to me. Why pay money to watch crap. Being that guy that was in the stands watching the Saints when they were terrible sounds more like poor financial planning than anything to me.

European sports culture is just different than ours.
Clubs are so much different than Franchises.
Even more so in Germany where the fans own part of their club. My team was still pulling around 30k while playing in the 2nd division.
Dortmund having a total shite year was still pulling 80k a match.
