Is it even close?
CJ: ~180pts
TM: ~150pts
Would you drop Charles Johnson for Ty Montgomery?

No.

Montgomery might now even see the field
Johnson >>> Jeff Janis >>> Ty Montgomery
Johnson >>> Jeff Janis >>> Ty Montgomery

Lol Ty will be possibly be #2 receiver. I just dropped B Coleman for him. But no Johnson may be a huge sleeper.
At worst he will be #3 receiver playing against weak coverage on a throw heavy offense.

Randall Cobb
Devante Adams

Like rookie Devante Adams last season... who finished as the 74th WR in PPR
Whether the 3rd WR is Janis or Montgomery, you still need an injury from one of the first two to have any kind of value

Adams was very bad at getting open. Looks like he learned some moves this season. But Ty already has that. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Ty jumps him by week 3-4.

So much wrong with this

Mate, let's see Montgomery jump Jeff Janis before we start talking Adams
Just know Janis is 6'3" 220 w 4.4 speed. And he's white! He's basically Jordy Nelson

Lmao. He ran with the first team in week 3. He is # 3 right now.

Despite Montgomery's inability to find the end zone, he remains the more intriguing option. ESPN.com's Rob Demovsky reported earlier in the week that Montgomery ran as the No. 3 receiver in practice behind Cobb and Davante Adams, and it will be a major boon for his fantasy value if he can maintain a stranglehold on that spot moving forward.

Pretty sure Ty was all American special teams returner and all purpose.

Am I correct in that you called Johnson a sleeper?

We talmbout returning kicks or playing WR
Ty Mont averaged less than 10 yards per reception in college. That is poor. He's built more for the slot, run after catch like Cobb
Cobb is slot
Adams more of a possession guy
Janis is the only WR that fits the deep threat, big play mold vacated by nelsons injury. 4 TDs on 10 preseason receptions last two years. Big and fast

Being he is mid tier #2-3 WR I'd call that a sleeper. A guy I'm thinking of a flex player or bench right now.
Under 80% owned across fantasy. Starting % under 30???? I'd say he is a sleeper if he dominates. H

He's slot? Guess someone didn't tell the coach that.

Mike McCarthy "Ty's got the ability to play inside and outside. No doubt about it. It's important to get him reps there."
