I have no issue with criticizing LEOs, but the lack of respect and hostility towards them is ridiculous. They are being forced into a corner and I don't think the citizenry will enjoy their push back.

The thing I have realized with LE is that they are like any other profession. There are people who are good at their jobs and there are people who suck. The need for any proefession to constantly improve on itself is absolutely necessary. That requires valid criticism and open discussion. But the hostility and hate I see with some people is disgusting and definitly counter-productive.

This is completely retarded. The cops can't afford a pushback on the citizenry. They've already given themselves a shitty name by their actions dealing with citizens. The way this shooting went down makes me think the shooter knew the victim.

This is true, and the real consequence will be that local cops will become rarer and rarer. I'm their place what will we get? More federal policing? I wouldn't doubt
