Good thread madam.
Granny, my mom's mom (whose parents came from Sicily through Ellis Island) made a great chicken caciatore.
Maw Maw, the petit and ever-pious Cajun grandmother cooked all the usual dishes mentioned on here as good as anyone else.
But the one thing I really miss that she would serve me is CUSH CUSH.
I know a few of you here know exactly what I'm talking about.
