I am envious of all of you.

My "fraternal" grandmother and my "sorority" grandmother were both deceased long before I was born.



I did have an old aunt who was like a surrogate grandmother. She fried eggs in an old black iron skillet.

The whites and yolks were soft and tender but the edges were lacy and crispy. Perfect!
