What the younger generation doesn`t know is some of us older guys like myself, played games that didn`t have the option to save. Sometimes I left the game on all night with the TV off, just so I didn`t have to start over.
I think Zelda was the first game I had that saved my progress.

I used to have to do this with Crystalis, still my favorite game of all time, because the save file would get erased like 90% of the time when you turned it off. I'm pretty sure I kept my NES on for 2 weeks straight once.
