I think that Les is going to give him time to work up to SEC game speed. I also think that Les has been so coy about this whole QB competition for two reasons:

1) To temper expectations of the fan base and let them be pleasantly surprised with his ability and leadership.
2) To keep Harris's ego in check - not saying he has a big issue with humility, but I think Les wants him to feel like this job has been hard earned, and to also help Jennings save face.
