website says they filter it out by separating then combine the components of the milk back together. My guess leaving out the fat

Fat has zero carbs (sugar)

That is how dairies do it now. Remove all fat, then remix it to obtain x% milk

I guess the filtering might remove some of the lactose and other sugars. I am diabetic and love milk, so i am all about this milk, as long as the flavor is there.

Edit just read website. The filtering takes all sugar out.
