Because the NFL and NBA won't allow it to happen. Don't have a pro sports franchise in Vegas now do we? There was a time long ago that sports books out there wouldn't take action on UNLV athletic events. I am not sure about the policy today. If the Saints or Pels happen to pack up and move, it's a possibility that it could happen but those teams are not going anywhere

LSU, it's too close of a radius in MS. That's how much the NFL and other leagues don't want it.
