I've got the J cradles for when I'm hauling two. With $230 invested there I won't be changing 
It's fine then because I have someone to help me load it. When I'm going solo thought I have to haul it flat on the foam pads and use the load bar assist. At 79$ it's a damn ripoff but it works and it's a necessity

Get that bar that looks like a ski pole....it fits in your Yakima Round Bar and slides out.
You pull it out....then load bow on bar..while stern is on ground.....then lift stern on top of car.....may be worth the money.
