At LA Tech, the engineering is taught with more rigor than physics.
To be fair, the Physicist seem more interested in you learning the info. The engineering professors (a few of them ) are more concerned with weeding people. I have seen people in Junior level courses switch majors.
But you suffer for it since it's harder to finder jobs unless you have a PhD. That's why I decided if I'm going to get higher education I may as well go to a new place and do what makes me happy.

Isn't it funny that if you can't cut it in undergrad engineering, you can get a different degree, then go and get a masters in engineering at an easier school?
