Agreed. Not worth forgoing time with family and friends that you could never get back.

Not sure why you're laughing, didn't you have to drop out of high school because your parents couldn't afford to pay for private school and the public school student bullied you?

Because $2 million doesn't go as far as you think. Plus, it would be smart to have some sort of employment just for insurance.

Book deals, TV appearances, speaking engagements, etc. etc.

It would be much more than $2 Million after taxes.

Wait...where did this come from?

Why would you get a book deal? What if the $2 Mil was payment for taking the fall for someone? You think they would be OK with you writing a book about it?

ETA: I just read the title and not the OP. I see where he mentioned game show. Forgive me.

Depends, does everyone know it's a game show or does it show up on background checks as just jail tine.

I thought it was a reality show.

The only issue I see is if the other inmates know about this little shenanigan. I don't know if they'd take too highly of this uppity guy getting $2 Million for going to jail when they are serving life sentences.

But hell yeah, if you documented everything that would actually be a really good read with some help from a good writer.

No worries, they'll be crawling back once the money rolls in. Then you can make up for the lost time by buying nice things

You do understand that in today's world, $2 million after taxes is not really permanently life-changing kind of money, right?

Im 24, single, and in debt. I could buy a house, a brand new truck, pay off my debt, and I know of a small business that rakes in the cash and I happen to know the ins and outs of running that I could buy for no more $150,000 cash. That would permanently change my life. Count me in.
