I understand that. What is some teenager going to think about their father being on this list, or maybe their mother? Perhaps they cheated or maybe they didn't. It is the insinuation that everyone on this list is a cheater.

Hackers just want to watch the world burn, they don't care about the carnage they leave in their path.

Who knows, throwing peoples names out there without any evidence of what they might have done is reckless.

So the hundreds or thousands of dollars that they spent listed there isn't evidence?

No, maybe they paid the money and never sealed the deal. This is information that no one knows, yet are drawing absolute conclusions about.

Men and women with no kids, fine I don't care. But this is going to destroy families that otherwise would have never known anything was going on.

Yeah I get that, kinda goes to the whole thing on cheating and who gets hurt by it, although I doubt anyone's going to be searching for their parents in there. Gross.

Take the morality issue out of the equation here...

I see your point but morality is a huge part of this equation.

But if hackers got into someones system, then they didn't invest enough in digital security. It needs to be exposed to make corporations and companies learn to spend money on IT security, you can't chance this. This type of stuff will wake up a lot of CFO types that were not worrying much about their data. It's a necessary evil.

While I'm fairly appalled both by what the hackers did and what the folks who joined this site did, I'd like to ask you a question...

Are you from West Feliciana, perhaps?

They knowingly put themselves in this position, therefore they deserve the ridicule IMO. They would never be sorry if they weren't ever caught in the first place.

I'm sorry that you think this way. So it's okay for someone to murder children in schools because we don't have enough security?

NO.

What needs to happen is, find these criminal hackers, and put them in jail immediately. Make an example of them so it doesn't happen again, and put an end to this fricked up new social acceptance of hacking.
