Memphis Dupay is the superior player as of now, I really don´t know if Sterling will be a superstar as everybody seems to think.

I think Chelsea´s Pedro is the perfected version of Sterling, if you ask me. Again, he has much more experience, and could be at his comparative ceiling.

Disagree. I don't think either has separated themselves from the other. Memphis has a high ceiling and could be a great. Same with Sterling. Right now, City needs Sterling to do EXACTLY what he has done. Create space for Silva, Yaya, and Kolarov. He pulls defenders wide and high and has made Kolarov look like a competent LB so far, albeit a small sample size. He has made it so Silva doesn't have to play CAM and LM anymore. Last year Chelsea would just smother us at the box. Through 2 this season, again small sample BUT Chelsea will be in the thick of it at the end, he has let Silva do what he does in the middle by pulling defenders wide. He's doing EXACTLY what Pellegrini has said he wanted. City didn't pay what they paid for him to come in and be Ronaldo. They paid it because 1) what he can bring NOW, 2) potential, 3) he's fricking HG and all that shite.

Depay looked great against a Brugge squad with what...4 starters missing? Not to say he didn't play well because he did. But at least in league play, he hasn't done anything more than Sterling.

The main point is that Sterling, in terms of goals, will likely never match Depay. They're being asked to do two different thing. Depay is being asked to play a Ronaldo type role at United. Up top on the wing in attack and drift central if need be to help wounded duck Rooney. Not a slam on Rooney, he's been a fricking workhorse for years and I wish City could have that type of player you can just plug in multiple positions like you can with Rooney. I would LOVE for city to have a Rooney.

Sterling is being asked something totally different and he's delivering. He doesn't need to score. He doesn't even need to assist necessarily. We have Silva, Navas/Nasri, Yaya, and MAYBE KDB for those duties. He simply needs to fill the role Pellegrini wants. Play wide, draw defenders to open up the middle, and track back enough to cover our weakness at LB. It is yeoman's work and yes, city paid a premium for him BUT his worth shouldn't be measured simply by what he does when he has the ball. He's an upgrade to whatever City can put on the left.

If you're giving me one right now for a dream team, I'll take Sterling simply because I'm a fan of the 4-2-3-1 City is playing and how he can play on the wing, central attack, and striker. If I needed a pure winger, I would take Depay.

Bottom line is that is entirely too early to judge either player. Both players are fulfilling their positions at their respective clubs.
