Making extra points important is stupid as frick. Who wants to watch a game end on a missed 33 yard field goal?

It's a great move. Just think Team X just drove the field and scored a touchdown with no time left, but need the extra point to send it to OT or miss it and lose. How in the blue hell is that not an exciting scenario? I bet you in this type of scenario, the defense will actually finally try and block the extra point instead of everyone just standing straight up and watching the kick.

That's exciting. That should get more emphasis

Have you ever seen a 33 yard field goal? It's not exciting.

Really? Way, WAY too much factors in to playing a successful football game to let a kicker decide the game on a long extra point. Late game field goals are different. Those field goals are rewards for pulling off a clutch drive. Kicking isn't exciting enough to let games be decided by extra points. I rather the NFL do away with extra points. This rule is horrible.
