I've had tint on both my trucks...usually just tell them to match the front windows to the back. Only got ticketed once by some d-bag cop that had it out for me (he gave me a ticket exactly one mont prior on the same road around the same time of day).

If you don't go obnoxiously dark, most cops won't bother you. Also, never get a strip across the windshield, that is a magnet.
