Tinted taillights are a legitimate complaint. I can't stand these frickers who reduce their visibility to other drivers, especially during poor visibility conditions (fog or rain).
I always tint my vehicles for the appearance as well as function (heat reduction). The really dark limo tint is unnecessary and can also be dangerous (I've had it, and it's tough to see at night). My typical is 35% front sides, and 20% around the rear. Never done the windshield, but have considered doing 50%.
