I'd probably vote for Girardi as best, but judging manager performance is far from an exact science. I could be way wrong.

Depends on how you want to look at Girardi, he did a fine job with a Marlins team that wasn't supposed to compete and then took over a Yankees team at the opposite end of the spectrum. They are supposed to be "old" and fade near the end but each year he has had the team in the hunt late into the season.

I like Scioscia and 16 years says a lot about him.
