Not really. Their admissions accepts pretty much everyone. I know kids who had a 2.0 gpa in HS who went to alabama. It is extremely easy to get into now.

No, all of us do that. It's just that if you show it you'll be labeled a pervy old man.

ETA: And the *only* state school in the South better for an ambitious young kid than LSU would be Texas. But Bama? He'll come home on Christmas with a gump accent and a want to hump his sister.

Good luck, start looking around for a good rehab for him to go to by third semester up there. That's not just conjecture, I know from seeing it first hand in large numbers

So you live on the westbank and your son goes to Bama. What a sad existence.

My daughter was home-schooled with decent grades and a 27 on her ACT and she got in Bama and Auburn and ended up going to Auburn so stop with that silly shite. Unless you are a complete retard you can get in most SEC schools except GA, Fla and Vandy. Hell, wait until Spring and you can get in anywhere but Vandy.

What discernable advantage is there attending any of those schools over LSU?

Miniscule if any. Same with Alabama.

Why would have to go to a directional school? LOL
