Ran out to last isle this morning and it was windy maybe around 10knts but not too bad at all on the beach. Water was dirtier than I would have thought and we only managed about 5 trout. Maybe could have caught some more but had to get back home early. First thing in the am we ran up on a school of a couple hundred bull reds crashing on top. Stopped the boat and threw 2 croakers at them and instantly hooked up 2 really pretty golden ones. Second time I've come up on this in the last couple months. Really cool to see. Moved around on the beach catching a trout here and there and hooking huge reds every 10 minutes or so for a few hours. All on huge croakers that were really probably too big for these small trout that are out there right now. Had a good time catching some big fish on light tackle.

Eta: only fished until about 10
