You were probably a teenie bopper when that strip off of rt 71 was hopping. Clubs everywhere. And they weren't ghetto ones. Yucatan liquor stand was the best one. 2 stories. I think one was the elephant bar. Too long ago to remember. Probably closer to 15 years ago,not 10

South Beach was the main one. Elephant Bar was where Shawn Springs got in trouble while he was at Ohio State if I recall.
It was a pretty trashy area even then. There's really no refuting that. All those places have closed now, even the Hooters on 161 closed, and I think the strip club on 161 that has been 15 different names. There are decent neighborhoods behind those places, but that strip died. It's being brought back slowly, but not as clubs.
