re: Counter Depth Fridge Worth it?

Dude when you stick the regular sized one in there and look at how ridiculous it looks you'll be embarrassed that you started this thread.

We built new in 2013 and after our closing went to Lowe's and picked out a stainless double door. On sale, with an extra 15% off, we had a deal on our hands. Then we realized we had counter depth cabinets. Went back, measured to confirm and then went back to Lowe's.

The EXACT same model (only smaller) was $1,000 more. So what did we do? What could we do...we left, went to HH Greg and I bargained them down on a Stainless Samsung Counter Depth almost the same amount.

But bottom line, do NOT try and jam a regular fridge in there. It's going to look ridiculous. Also, re: size...yes there is a difference but our Samsung is actually way bigger than we realized. The doors can hold multiple gallon jugs and liter bottles. Size concern is overblown.

Just my $0.02. Spend the $500 and don't be so damn cheap....
