SC and ND have more than 20 titles between the two programs. They have met many, many times when either one or both of the programs are in serious contention for a national title...probably on the order of forty or more times. They have played in some of the most iconic games in the sport's history (1964, 1968, 1974, 1977, 1978, 1988, 2005). They have been playing both longer and have played more times than UCLA. What's the reason?
