No

A guy transferring out of a program after spending 3 practices there doesn't scream "let's go get him!" to me.

I said before knowing anything about him that we should kick the tires and see what's there. But after reading about the number thing, don't waste the time or effort. Let him be someone else's problem.

Holy shite because of a number

No thanks and he would not be getting #3 from Tyron Johnson either.

From the article...

quote:

"Tennessee was a perfect fit for him," Winston Cherry said. "Texas wasn't the right place for him to go. I knew this wasn't going to last, because the simple fact is this wasn't put together right. It was just a matter of time."

Sounds like Tenn is the place he wants. This guy doesn't sound like a gamer at all. There was also this in the article,

quote:

He also noted his son was disappointed by the fact that he was assigned the No. 52 jersey for this season instead of his preferred No. 3.

Really? Do not want a guy that gets rattled by not getting the number he wants.

No, I don't suggest we consider him at this point because he seems like a bit of a loose canon with the immaturity issues.

But at the same time, I could be wrong. None of us know him, we're only speculating about his character. He may have been lied to about the jersey number, in this case he has a right to be upset about it. A small insignificant lie is still a lie. I say let the coaching staff evaluate him and see.

It's not fair to judge him from an article like that. There's way more to the story than what this writer is saying.

Spends THREE WHOLE practices and wants to leave!! On top of that the cry baby didn't get the number he wanted!!! Booo Hoooo!
All this from a 3 Star player. We live in a day when kids seem very unthankful for the opportunity to play and get a great education.
What a day we live in.

If you want to know the difference in the athletes of today and days gone by...take a look at the LSU and Notre Dame game someone posted a few days ago. Notice Andy Hamiltons attitude after beating Clarenc "Toast" Ellis on the first touchdown.
