re: HDMI splitter wont work

No difference in quality at all.

I wish I had known that they make splitters that bypass the encryption like the other guy linked.. That would be easier. I did read some comments that those run extremely hot though.. But it looks well made.

If you can, you may prefer to use that type of splitter to save yourself room. I'm thankful for this thread because none of the splitters I ever used could do this. Now I know there are versions that can on their own. I feel bad for recommending my way without knowing of that splitter. Amazon will refund you if you decide to change. If you keep it though please let me know how it works and if you need any other help.
