Buffet was a country writer/singer, and I really enjoyed his music until Chesseburger In Paradise. I jumped off that shrimp boat in a big hurry.

He and JJW spent a lot of time in NOLA and were mainstays at the old Country Music Festivals at the state fairgrounds. That was the mid-70's and outlaw country at its best.

As good as Son Of A Son Of A Sailor was it marked the end of his relevancy in country circles. Havana Daydreaming and Changes in Latitude started the spiral to full Parrotheadism. Dude's a genius to pick up on all that.
