They don't. All the people naysaying the NFL, doubting its future success, saying it's doomed to fail, etc. are idiots. It's better than ever, and its profitability is better than ever.

I can't wait for a new season.

Less and less kids are playing. Once the talent level drops (could be a decade or more away) the quality will go down. Slowly leading to a drop in ratings.

I disagree here.... The 70's 80's and early 90s were the best of the NFL... Todays game is a bunch of overpaid robots.... The game is too structured.. Games start at 12 and they are run by the NFL... Too many commercials and the QB play is horrendous after the top 12-15...No running game anymore... Its too pass happy... Are the athletes bigger and faster??? YES... Doesn't mean the game is better..... The SB has lost its luster from days gone by.... Guys switching teams at an alarming rate.... Its way too money driven and the players just don't care like they used too....

It's not as good of a game as it once was but it's still better than any other professional sport by a wide margin.
