1) It's not as good as season 1, accept that
2) It's not nearly as bad as this board makes it out to be, understand that...There are parts of the story that don't need to be there, and there could be more of a back story on some characters, it's far from perfect, but it's still definitely worth watching
3) A lot of people complained about Vince Vaughn in the first few episodes but he's settled in and has really come into character at the midway point of the season
4) A lot of people are complaining about Rachel McAdams, Taylor Kitsch, and Kelly Reilly and saying that they suck and they're too this or too that, but IMO in reality they are accurately portraying what the character is going through...If you don't like the character that's one thing, and some times actors do ruin a role but I do not think this is the case

Isn't this the truth?

If you liked season 1 then I think you would like season 2. The story is much different but I mean it's still cops working through a big time case and dealing with a good amount of inner demons at the same time.

The board makes this show seem like total shite and that couldn't be further from the truth. It has its problems like every television show that's ever been created, but it's still entertaining. If someone says it sucks and isn't worth even checking out the first episode it's because they put ridiculous expectations that could never be fufilled upon the second season.

Kitsch is rough to watch at times. The brooding thing is just a little overdone. McAdams is doing an okay job, but the whole knife training thing is also over the top. It's nice that they actually used it so as to not violate Chekhov's gun, but I feel like they really only needed to show it once.

None of these are my problem with this season. My problem is that the pacing and story telling have been awful. So much stuff has been missing, or seems out of place.
