Watching all these quarterback threads over and over every day, it never seems to dawn on anyone that it's actually possible that BOTH quarterbacks are better than last year. Last season was Jennings FIRST SEASON as the starter, after only really playing one full game the season before. Harris was a true freshman. I'm not surprised that neither of them were that impressive.

I honestly don't care who the starter is as long as he's better than what we had last season! To say that Jennings "is who he is" after one season starting, is assinine. Harris APPEARS to have more natural ability, but I think both guys have the physical tools to be successful. The question is, how much has EITHER improved in the mental aspect of the game. If Jennings has improved and Harris hasn't, then Jennings should start. If Harris has improved and Jennings hasn't then Harris should start. I just want the most competent guy back there. I don't care WHICH of these two is the starter.

most rational fans don't....they want whoever the best player is to start.

but we have some real window lickers in our fanbase. the people screaming for Harris today will be screaming for Franks pretty soon.

One has to ask the obvious, "Is it possible we could be any worse at QB than last year?"

of course they will be better or improved this year, but what does that mean? We go from 100th in the nation in passing to 90th? Not nearly good enough for an Elite program

I am mr Positiger about Tiger football, but goodness our QB play was just horrible last year and has been below average for many years. 4 years of JJ and JL, we just can't go back to that crap. 1 year with Jennings was just awful. That's 5 years out of Ten, Miles has failed to provide Tiger fans a good or decent QB.

I am sick of ugly offense. The rest of the SEC may respect LSU as a team as they should, but at QB, people kind of giggle.

Raise your expectations!

I'm with you on this one! I really like Harris more than AJ but if Harris hadn't separated himself by now........... Lord it's gonna be a long season!

All of this. People need to stop rooting for a specific player and just want the best to play. Only the coaches know who gives them the best chance to win.
