Make sure you have internet connection then check for windows updates, then install, it will take a while, but after about your third reboot it should all be working very smoothly and quick.
There might be a couple of things that still dont work the way they should or the way they did under windows 8.1, I would go out to the device or software website and see if there is an available drive for windows 10.
I have heard a lot of people have the same problems you are having, from what I have heard and experienced in the past (not windows 10 upgrade, but other os upgrades) this seems to be common place.
