It's ok, there are still plenty of quality liberal comedy political shows out there, you probably won't even notice he's gone.

He was surpassed by peak Colbert (though interestingly enough, Colbert's biggest performance wasn't on his own show) and right now Oliver is doing something that's like an evolution of the medium, shifting from straight comedy and criticism to actually informing and activating his audience, but Stewart meant something for a solid decade he was basically the best and most talked about late-night host, and possibly comedian in America, he was also sadly enough, probably a better news source than any major cable news personality.
