I think most artists have their time, then fizzle out. It's extremely difficult to maintain that kind of relevance and coolness for very long. Those who can are legends.

A lot of people hate on ST and Robocop, but if you view them as dystopian, comedic comments on modern society and where he thought it was heading, you can see how truly brilliant he was.
