I have not lived specifically in Colorado Springs, but have lived a while in Colorado...

I really liked the weather...hot in the summer, with spells of cold during the winter. You would typically have 4 or so good snows, but the sun shines most every day, so it melts quickly. I found the dry air to be particularly plesant.

one word of advice is to check out the cost of living very well in comparison to where you currently live...it really caught me off gaurd and I was'nt making nearly enough there to really enjoy the place...
